WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PILATES AND YOGA?
Yoga combines physical movements with meditation and breathing techniques. Pilates involves a series of repetitive body moves with breathing techniques to enhance correct movement and coordination. Regular yoga and Pilates classes improve your muscle strength, and balance and flexibility skills.
Yoga in my opinion will help with flexibility more and Pilates will help with conditioning the body more.
First Time
All classes are beginner friendly, can adapt all exercises/poses to suit your ability.
Suitable clothing. Comfy clothes you feel able to move in.
Yoga/Pilates mat. Mats are provided. But feel free to bring your own.
Towel. A towel is always recommended for the hot classes. Available for hire.
Water bottle. Water is also available for purchase at the studio.
Equipment. All other equipment is provided at the venue depending on the class taking place.
